英文短文
Olivia borrows a book from a fictional library. It is due next Friday. She may request a renewal online, but another reader may be waiting for the same book. Olivia writes the due date in her notebook. If her request is not approved, she will return the book on time. She checks the result rather than assuming every request succeeds.
句型与理解
borrow说明借入，return说明归还。can request只表示可以申请，不等于已经获得续借。due date是归还期限。真实借阅规则以相应图书馆说明为准，这里只练阅读与表达。
